Welcome to Whiting High School, Home of the“OILERS”.
I would like to begin by introducing myself as the  principal of Whiting High School.
It is an honor and a privilege to be the principal of such an outstanding school. 

We are a student focused facility where opportunities, rewards and challenges await.   The faculty and staff will make every effort to be sensitive to our student’s educational needs.  We encourage our students to participate in academic programs and extra-curricular activities. We see our small size as our strength. We are able to provide a balanced curriculum yet we are able to care and treat each student as an individual. We pride ourselves in the way in which we look after the emotional and behavioral welfare of our students. We have an excellent guidance counselor along with social worker who advise and provide support for our high school students.

Student’s high school experiences are extremely important to us.  Our students are encouraged to learn in an environment which challenges them to succeed and is free from distraction.  Academically, Whiting High School has an excellent reputation as demonstrated by our “Blue Ribbon” distinction.   

Taking advantage of the opportunities presented to Whiting students now means that they start down a path of good attendance, good grades, active involvement, citizenship, and success. Becoming involved is the best way to have a fulfilling high school career.
