The students competed in six units. Each unit created a four minute opening statement that had topics such as rights and liberties, constitutional practices, foundation documents, etc. The panel of judges consisted of college professors, attorneys, and other government officials. Each unit answered eight minutes worth of follow up questions. Our students showed great leadership, teamwork skills, and professionalism when answering the questions. For it being our first year competing, it was a great experience for the students to compete in Indianapolis.
