BUCKLEY WALL OF FAME

The Buckley Wall of Fame is a dedication to Whiting High School graduates who have overachieved in their accomplishments and successes in their contribution to society in the areas of academics, athletic and civil accomplishments. The Buckley wall of Fame was established in 2005 by the Whiting Board of School Trustees in honor of James J. Buckley, Whiting High School Class of 1942.

Whiting High School Class of 1942

Jim spent much of his career as an educator, coach, and former board member. After retirement, he dedicated sixteen years of service to the Whiting School Board. He had a strong belief in educating the children of Whiting. He was humbled and honored when the Wall of Fame was named after him. He took great pride in being a part of the Whiting School System and all that the school has accomplished. Jim hoped that his name on the wall would instill the spirit, drive and commitment to excellence in education for Whiting students.
