Weekly Update

During Homeroom this week, students will be working on Khan Academy to improve their PSAT and SAT scores. There will be no Homeroom on Tuesday March 12th due to SAT testing.

On Tuesday, Freshmen, Sophomores, and Seniors should report to their 1st period class after getting their Chromebooks and Juniors should report to their testing locations after getting their Chromebooks.

There is a FASFA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) completion event in the high school library this Wednesday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Seniors and families are encouraged to attend for FREE help in completing this crucial financial aid form. Please see the attached document for more information.

Congratulations to Richard Sarabia, who won the Oiler of the Week award for last week. Teachers nominate Oilers of the Week by choosing students who exemplify our 5 core values (Self-Discipline, Responsibility, Self-Advocacy, Grit, and Growth Mindset).

The 3rd quarter ends this Friday March 15th and report cards will be given to students next Friday March 22nd. Assignment Recovery continues this week for students who are failing a course and miss an assignment in that Course. Social Studies is on Monday with Mr. Belyayev; English is on Tuesday with Mr. Popiela; Science is on Thursday with Ms. Morando; Math is on Friday with Mrs. Reese.

There is a choir and band concert tonight at 7:00 PM in Memorial Gym. We hope to see you there.
