The School City of Whiting recently completed a comprehensive facilities assessment that included professional condition and structural reviews of district buildings, along with feedback from a Parent/Guardian and Student Facilities Survey. The assessment examined building conditions, infrastructure, safety, accessibility, and long-term maintenance needs, while survey responses highlighted priorities such as HVAC reliability, restrooms, traffic flow, and modern learning spaces. Overall feedback was generally positive but showed interest in continued improvements to support student learning.
