School City of Whiting is excited to announce the launch of Skyward Family Access, our new online student information system.
Beginning today, returning families will receive an email invitation to create their Skyward Family Access account. Please watch your inbox for this invitation. If you do not receive the email, be sure to check your Spam or Junk folder before contacting your child's school.
Once your account is created, Skyward Family Access will allow you to:
Complete annual student registration online
View grades and report cards
Access class schedules
Monitor attendance
Update student and family information
Access important school information throughout the year

Registration Assistance & Summer Registration
School City of Whiting is offering families two ways to complete student registration this summer.
Option 1: Complete Registration Online (Recommended)
Families who complete registration through Skyward Family Access may attend one of our Registration Support Days:
Tuesday, August 4 — 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Thursday, August 6 — 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
During these sessions, families can:
Present proof of residency
Submit required medical and immunization records
Update student information, if needed
Receive teacher assignments (elementary) or class schedules (middle/high school)
Option 2: Register In Person
Families who prefer to complete paper registration forms may attend our traditional Summer Registration sessions at Door #10 (High School Cafeteria Entrance):
Last Names A–L: Monday, August 3, 1:00–3:45 PM or 5:00–6:45 PM
Last Names M–Z: Wednesday, August 5, 1:00–3:45 PM or 5:00–6:45 PM
District staff will be available during all registration sessions to answer questions and assist families with either registration option. Summer registration dates and times are available here.
